Madisi provides support for innovation portfolio management, market research, market strategy, socio- economic analysis, life cycle analysis, and environmental impact assessment of new solutions and technologies. All are well respected professionals in the local and international business arena. Many are distinguished academics in chemical and environmental engineering having provided innovative solutions to key environmental issues well placed within the EU Circular Economy Strategy. Approaches suggested in all streams of waste and waste water management aim at closing the loop of circular economy models and tackle all phases in the lifecycle of a product: from production and consumption to waste management and the market for secondary raw materials.

Among them, have authored 100+ scientific publications in waste management, water resources, circular economy approaches to environmental and climate change issues and have managed 300+ major national and international projects on sustainable environmental management including solid waste, industrial waste, agrowaste and wastewater management, energy management, energy and biomass, climate change (adaptation and mitigation measures), energy efficiency, mathematical environmental modelling, environmental economics and green finance.

Dr Yulia Matskevich, PhD, MBA
Yulia Matskevich combines her background in health/life sciences with her experience in managing international collaborative projects in research and innovation. She has worked as a biomedical researcher at Saint Petersburg State University in Russia, the University of Tübingen in Germany, and the University of Edinburgh in the UK before moving into research management. For the last ten years she has led the EU funding team at Brunel University in London, UK developing the EU funding strategy and establishing strategic collaborations with leading universities, industrial partners, and research organizations across Europe. She is currently based in Brussels and works with Madisi as an expert in health/medical markets. She is a member of European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA), the European Regions Research & Innovation Network (ERRIN), and serves as an expert for the European Commission for the evaluation of Horizon 2020 proposals. She holds a MS and PhD from Saint Petersburg State University in Biochemistry and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Lance Leverette, MBA
Lance Leverette is Brussels-based expert with Madisi Ltd with over 13 years’ experience in market analysis and strategy. He is an Innovation Manager conducting market research and analysis as well as market strategy, business plans, commercial due diligence, and market reports for universities, start-ups, grant consortiums, and companies in Europe for new product development and growth expansion strategies (research grants, investment risk assessment, and strategic planning). He serves as expert coach for SME instrument with European Commission and through a partner in Malta conducts market research and economic impact assessments for Malta Council Science and Technology (MCST) FUSION voucher scheme. He has over eight market publications on various markets including automotive, industrial, and medical.

Before relocation to Brussels, Lance Leverette worked in strategic marketing and market analysis for a variety of leading developers of precision industrial and medical device products in the United States including AJ Oster (a division of Global Brass and Copper with sister company Olin Brass), Barnes Aerospace (an aerospace original equipment manufacturer), and Zeus Industrial Products (a developer of performance polymer products for medical device, aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications). At Zeus he worked with R&D to commercialize a fluoropolymer nanofiber as well as coordinate various projects for market development. Further, he also led in the development of the automotive and industrial manufacturing market segments for UPS (United Parcel Service- a Fortune 50 company) in Atlanta, Georgia, US and was an analyst with SupplierBusiness (now a division of IHS) in Stamford, England reporting on the purchasing strategies of automotive manufacturers. He holds a BA in International Affairs from Kennesaw State University in Georgia, United States and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Andreas Georgiou
Mr. Georgiou is an Economist with a Master’s Degree received from London University. He has many years of experience in the fields of investment evaluation; supervising the preparation of business models to promote competitiveness and products uptake; planning and evaluation of market analysis for various products and business activities.

Maria Zachariou Dodou
Dr. Maria Zachariou-Dodou is civil and public health engineer, with MSc degree from University College London and PhD in Chemical Engineering from NTUA in the field of wastewater treatment and reuse. She has 40-year experience in working both in the public sector in Cyprus, as well as in the private sector in a large number of countries with emphasis on water resources management, water treatment and reuse, and desalination processes. She has a great experience in designing and implementing EU funded projects mostly dealing with providing innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

Olga Vdovichenko
Olga Vdovichenko (BSc in Accounting from The Shevchenko State University of Pridnestrovie, Moldova) is an accomplished and highly skilled accountant with significant experience in Business Administration and Project Management who has been a private business consultant for over 15 years.

Strong understanding of business finance and budgeting principles with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to carry out research, collect and analyze large amounts of interconnected information covering all business aspects from finance, employment, taxation etc.

The last five years has been exclusively occupied with EU and nationally funded projects acquiring expertise on administrative and financial issues related to budget formation and funding eligibility rules. Highly skilled in the use of specialist software and advanced methods in order to produce forecasts of economic trends as well as to effectively manage projects and business funding.
